Fun Ski skates

So honestly I have not had the chance to try these on snow (yay texas) but I did try them with my boots and shuffling around on the carpet and having fun all around. I did get these for the next huge dump of snow that will happen (when I know not) in the central Texas area to be able to get out and about and not really stay trapped at home and have more fun to make the best of a situation that closes everything including the roads. Not very heavy and just fun

Requires the right conditions. Definitely an attention getter

Both my winter conditions and my availability to get to the slopes have not cooperated this year:Either the snow was already too slushy or too deep for such small skis.My inexperience and unwillingness to risk a face plant was also a contributing factor. That said, just shuffling along got me more attention than I am used to. I am pretty sure that I could have sold a few pair of these if I had them with me. I almost sold this pair!Rating it with 4 stars, mainly because I am comparing them to rental skis (almost always available for any conditions) and the value of money spent. What I like ~• From my failed attempt, I KNOW these are going to be a great time on the right slope in the right conditions. Winter and my schedule just need to cooperate.• Quality of materials is more than adequate to last a while. Especially if 'real' skiing is going to remain the main hobby.• Definitely a conversation starter / ice breaker (pun intended)• Being able to just exit your vehicle with only a backpack and being ready for fun is a game changer. What I do not like ~ no deal breakers here• Probably is best to bring your real boots and skis along to cover the bet but then you have to worry about your boots and skis while away from the car ~ may not be a problem in less touristy/lower crime areas.
